Do I get to meet and interact with other participants?
Program Structure & Experience

Yes! You get the opportunity to participate in weekly live cohort calls with active members of the community discussions on the IACC’s online forum.

If you want to continue connecting with your instructors and the IACC community of coaches, we welcome you to join our community for graduates and continue your learning and progress alongside a community of your peers.

Should I attend the 3-day Live Business Bootcamp for each course I complete?
Program Structure & Experience

If bundling multiple courses one after another, we recommend that you attend once after your first program.

If it has been a significant amount of time since you completed your previous certification and attended the 3-day Live Business Bootcamp, you are welcome to attend the bootcamp again as Cara is always updating the tools and content. Iin addition, you may find you approach the bootcamp differently the second time around (it’s always a great opportunity to ask new questions and absorb new ideas).

How large are the SPRC cohorts?
SPRC

The Senior Professional Resilience Coach (SPRC)™ cohorts typically have 6-10 participants, so we can ensure each student gets the individual support they need to succeed as a coach upon graduation.

When does the next SPRC cohort start and end?
SPRC

The next SPRC cohort officially begins on May 6th, 2026 and ends June 26th, 2026.

If you are interested in getting your SPRC, we highly recommend joining the upcoming cohort - even if you are busy, have vacations planned etc. - the IACC team will work with you to ensure you are able to get the most out of the program while still maintaining your schedule.

What is the minimum requirement to take the course?
MPCC

Participants may only apply for their Master Professional Career Coach (MPCC)® certification after completing the SPCC certification and fulfilling the MPCC experience requirements.

Can career coaching work with my existing coaching (or other business) practice?

Career coaching is particularly beneficial for most business owners who support those looking to find direction and fulfillment. That could include anything from life coaches to social workers, to yoga teachers and more.

How do you support the launch of my career coaching business?
General

The International Association of Career Coaches (IACC) has two core offerings that support the launch and continued success of your career coaching business.

If you are participating in the Senior Professional Career Coach (SPCC)®, Senior Professional Resilience Coach (SPRC)™ or Senior Professional Résumé Writer (SPRW)™ program(s) you are invited to join the upcoming 3-day Live Business Bootcamp at no cost.

In the 3-Day Live Business Bootcamp, you will learn how to launch your business and will leave with a business plan, marketing plan and even sales scripts to help you land your first client.

If you want to stay connected with Cara and other members of the IACC community, we also invite you to join the Path for Graduates. The Path for Graduates offers you business coaching from Cara, additional modules for continued learning, access to key tools and recruiter lists, a supportive community of non-competitive career coaches and more.

Please note that the Path is for select graduates only and the association reserves the right to not grant membership to the Path should a student not demonstrate exceptional commitment to the IACC’s code of ethics during their participation in any other IACC programs.
