FAQ

The Senior Professional Career Coach certification is a 12-week program designed to give you the blueprints to get started as a career coach. You'll learn how to help your clients identify their ideal job and how to get there from where they are now. You'll also learn how to get your business set up and running, so you have the confidence to get off to a strong start.


The Master Professional Career Coach (MPCC)™ certification builds on that foundation, to give you support through the first year (and beyond!) of owning your own business and taking on your own clients, so you know you can be successful. You'll be a rock-solid professional with the MPCC™ certification!


The IACC General Membership is a yearly membership that gives you the opportunity to connect with a network of like-minded professionals, resources to grow your business, and discounts on vetted partners. It is not a certification, but as an IACC member, you'll get discounts on the SPCC and MPCC™ certifications!

Having a certification means your clients can have faith that you are a professional who can help them, that your advice has weight behind it. With the IACC, your clients can have the peace of mind of knowing that you're certified through a global organization and that you can help them solve their problem.


Having a certification also gives you insight into what you don't know. Many people are hesitant to get started as a career coach because they just don't know what they don't know. But in the SPCC, we cover all the basics, and ensure you have the skills to feel confident in handling anything a client can throw at you. In the MPCC™ we build on that and make sure you have successful strategies that are working for you, your business, and your clients.

Some content in the calendar and Athenaeum is exclusive to the different levels of membership. You may need to register as a General Member to see some content, or be a part of one of our Certification programs. If you are a member and still cannot see the content, let us know what's happening on the Have A Question forum.

If you're unable to log in to your account, try resetting your password using the "Forgot Password" option on the login screen.

If you are able to log in to your account but you can't see the curriculum, go to My Account, in the upper right hand corner of the screen or the square with the rainbow credit card. You'll see two relevant tabs when you're in your account: the first is the Payments tab, where you can see your payment history and if any payments have been missed. The second is the Subscriptions tab, where you can see your active subscriptions and the credit cards associated with them. You can change your credit card information on this screen.
